Twenty Twenty is pleased to announce the opening of its new contemporary gallery on Gadigal Country/Sydney, introducing a platform dedicated to the evolving dialogue between art, sculpture, and design. The gallery presents creators who challenge conventional definitions, offering work that is materially expressive, conceptually refined and shaped by a deeply considered design ethos. Established to broaden the ways design is experienced and understood in Australia, the gallery approaches the discipline as both cultural and architectural. Its exhibitions foreground the structural and sculptural qualities of objects, encouraging visitors to consider how form, material and proportion influence the way a space is inhabited. This perspective underpins the program, informs the selection of designers, and works presented. The inaugural exhibition will be a solo presentation by Paris-based architect and designer Joris Poggioli, marking his first dedicated exhibition in Australia. Trained in sculpture and architecture, Poggioli has become known for work defined by bold volumes, sensual lines, and a meticulous approach to material. Since establishing his studio, he has developed a body of work that has drawn the attention of collectors, architects and institutions for its disciplined composition and sculptural clarity.
